The economic impact of Project 2025 would be a disaster for the working class.
The plan outlines making people work until at least age 70, privatizing Medicare, gutting Medicaid, tax cuts for the ultra-rich, and more.
A thread.
Although there have been discussions & articles about Project 2025, VERY FEW focus specifically on Trump's plans for Black Americans
That's why I read all 922 pages of #Project2025 as well as #Agenda47
Here are the top 10 things I found:

@JustVent6@RonFilipkowski viktor orban, running a one-party "democracy" (authoritarian dictatorship) that effectively made other political parties illegal, a la putin's russia -- receiving glowing reviews by tucker carlson, and being invited to CPAC says everything you wanna know about their goals here
@stacyhrae@POTUS a very very small # of people could have qualified for trump's version. would have also required high administrative costs to decide who was poor enough for it. this is an actual working policy as opposed to virtue signaling...
@LouisJMarinelli@POTUS trump's plan was effectively useless, would have applied to a super small fraction of extremely poor diabetics and required high overhead costs to decide if they were "poor enough" -- biden's plan is way more efficient and applies to more americans, as opposed to virtue-signaling
@hersades1989@WhiteHouse Biden supported expanding the initiative to apply to more people, such as those with private insurance, and allow Medicare to negotiate certain drug prices like insulin. So much broader reach and scraps the ineffective administrative bloat from the prev. bill
@hersades1989@WhiteHouse Trump’s version was: only applied to specific low income health centers, which already provide discounted meds; his bill required massive administrative costs to determine whether someone was poor enough to qualify so overall impact would be ineffective and costly
@SamWaltem @MMrunsOnDunkin @piper4missouri 2nd: you cannot force someone to sacrifice themselves for another person without their consent, whether its donating blood, or even being dead and giving organs to save someone else's life. its a basic human right that should be upheld above religious favoritism in a free society
@SamWaltem @MMrunsOnDunkin @piper4missouri i think a more important distinction here is the scale of perceived pain or suffering that's possible. if you've got a zygote with no brain formed, only tissue, or very rudimentary organs, it's obv not comparable to a fully realized and developed baby.
Animated some action with Troll Hunter and Meli rigs by @KielFiggins.
Euler filter became my best friend while I worked on this one. Also tested Overlapper, such a great tool, saved me hours!
@AssBoss80085 Anytime I give my parents a chance they’re just blatantly racist and uncomfortable for everyone. Idk how many more talks we can do where I try to set reasonable boundaries and they get defensive, angry, call me names, then apologize the next day. It’s exhausting.
@GovRonDeSantis will they hold you accountable for letting your wealthiest donors cut the line for the covid vaccine early in the pandemic, while simultaneously promoting antivaxxer rhetoric to the working class? no? ok
