@GrumpyBadger5 @ValkStrategy @aviationarchive The core was chosen because the corrected air flow at 78,000 feet was high due to low ambient air density so that a massive compressor impeller diameter was needed. It was acting like a large two stage turbocharger (with intermediate intercoolers).
