If Kamala wins YouTube celebrities will be hunted in the streets for sport. And frankly, I think it's pathetic that Democrats have taken until 2024 to promise that kind of real, positive change

[Bernie Sanders @BernieSanders]

Mr. Netanyahu, antisemitism is a vile and disgusting form of bigotry that has done unspeakable harm to millions.

Do not insult the intelligence of the American people by attempting to distract us from the immoral and illegal war policies of your extremist and racist government.

[Lara Friedman @LaraFriedmanDC]

Hi all. Nerdy policy wonk who follows Congress closely weighing in with a thread on legislation (getting no media coverage) moving rapidly through Congress that targets US non-profit orgs, with the immediate & explicit target being orgs involved in Palestine protesting.

@PplsCityCouncil Serious question because I don't understand: she writes in this thread that she's only one of 3 CMs to vote against LAPD $1B budget. What is she referring to?

[cyriak harris @cyriakharris]

Fans of Kitty City might be pleased to hear that the driver of the cat-car is still doing well. She's 20 years old and spends most of her time eating and sleeping and generally "being a bitch" apparently

Dear Biden @POTUS @VP @RepLloydDoggett A letter from our founder Nancy Thompson: I am the granddaughter of a Bracero who married a Native American / Spanish woman. As a Latina — as an American, as a Texan, and as a human being — I am appalled that Texas SB4 passed yesterday.

@Future_Folk Is this for real?!

[Solar Rights Alliance @solar_rights]

Fearful that their profit margins will decline and their monopolistic hold on the state’s power grid will be loosened by competition with renewables, PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E are, in effect, penalizing customers who are utilizing the clean power of the sun. #SaveSolar

this man voted against interracial marriage protections being codified when he's in an interracial marriage.

@UnrigLA @JesseThorn? (Not the asshole confederate part)

[LeGate @williamlegate]

I don't understand why Kavanaugh couldn't just go to another state to eat? Why did he allow himself to get hungry in the first place? 🤔

THREAD: As cops try to spin Uvalde as one bad choice by a bad police commander from a brand new small “cowardly” police department, please remember these facts:

@castrepublic Some say "failed" and some say "waiting for download to start". It's doing this while the app is open, and I'm on wifi. Streaming works fine.

Ba8ttery settings don't seem to fix it. See screenshots.

Thank you again for being so helpful!

@castrepublic Recently all my downloads fail because they start downloading and then just stall, and I can't figure out why. A download will get to like 6% and just sit there. I'm set up to only download on wifi, and I'm not out of storage space. Any ideas? Thanks!

@JesseThorn Jesse would you recommend this man (& his parents) as a good candidate for fixing my 70 year old parents' home theater setup in a way that they will actually understand how to use it (something that has never previously occurred)?

THREAD. I noticed something fascinating: many of the reporters concocting the new hysteria over "retail theft" are using the *exact same* words and patterns in each story. It's pretty wild. Let's take a look:

[Alec Karakatsanis @equalityAlec]

The result of all of this is a public massively distracted from far more important issues. Did you know that these same corporations engage in wage theft every day that dwarf all other property crime combined? Read this whole thread: https://t.co/DN7mCHaFaS
