Lengthy response from @Ford to @SecDuffy: “Had Secretary Duffy reached out before issuing his letter to the press, we would have been happy to share more details about Ford’s U.S. commitment” https://t.co/zuIKHSrpvA
@KevinLiao_ I’ve had to interact with the DMV a lot recently (getting a CA license, change of address, registering an out of state vehicle, plate transfers, renewing my registration), and I’ve only had positive experiences so far.
If anyone has issues at the CA DMV it’s a skill issue.
I'm a farmer. I've spent nearly eight years watching Washington kick the farm bill down the road.
This bipartisan bill delivers for the farmers and ranchers who keep the North State running. I'm working to get it across the finish line.
In a state where wildfire threatens lives, homes, and livelihoods every year, Mike McGuire voted to give High-Speed Rail a higher funding priority than wildfire prevention.
Your first electric vehicle just got a whole lot cheaper.
California is stepping in with thousands of dollars in savings for first-time EV buyers.
You can now save up to $3,500 on a new electric car and up to $1,750 when buying used.
CA Republicans do a lot of whining about the gas tax, but they never come to the table with solutions for transportation funding.
SB1 has had an immensely positive impact on CA’s transportation system. Also—don’t forget—voters ultimately approved it.
'Yeah, people here don't buy gas in California. They go to Oregon.'
Why do you think they're doing that, Mike?
Because you voted to make California's gas tax 63 cents a gallon.
@brandenflasch I know in CA, some utilities are trying to shift EV demand to daylight hours (likely to help with this problem and use excess solar) with “super off-peak” TOU windows in commercial EV rate plans.
We just need more public charging infrastructure to take advantage of the pricing!
@spencerpratt@MelissaKXLY4 Sincerely, fuck back off to the five star hotel that you live in. Your victim LARPing didn’t help your failed run for LA mayor, and it certainly won’t gain you points here.
Reminder: GM helped Trump gut California’s clean car standards so they could sell more polluting vehicles instead of competing for the future.
American workers lose. China wins.
SAD!
SF I got news for you... state laws are designed specifically to build BIG in the urban core. Placer County has been one of the fastest growing counties in the state for many years, while people escape the urban core because they cant afford to live there. But as we welcome sprawl into the foothills, we increase VMT, pollution, traffic for much longer commutes, etc.
we should be upzoning the hell out of our major cities.
@TheNateSykes@itskyleconner@brandenflasch I believe that charger is operated by It’s Electric. They apparently send people a Type 2 to J1772 cable for free in order to use their equipment.
@urbenschneider Could be a lot worse. The last time I looked into Valley Link, I think they were planning to use a hydrogen version of the Stadler FLIRT.
@Motor1com It’s wild that Honda can somehow justify selling the hydrogen fuel cell version of CR-V in the US, but can’t muster up the courage to make and sell at least one EV here.
