Lauritzen Scholar is an honest approach to scholarly writing. It helps students to track sources and cite properly without writing for them. Available soon for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. No subscription. Just $9.99.
I’ve been working on a new app called Lauritzen Capture. The goal is to make it as easy as possible to record information and recall it when you need it. I made it with people with ADHD in mind. #lauritzencapture
I was watching my daughter struggle to organize her ideas as she took a creative writing class, so I made an app to help her out. I call it Lauritzen Story Arc. It’s a story outlining app with super powers. Check it out!

My ADHD brain likes to jump from project to project. The only way I can stay productive is to take thorough notes using my second brain. #WritingCommunity
You need a second brain. And by second brain, I mean an organized system for storing your ideas. Right now I’m using Notion, but it can be anything. You’ll find it’s easier to keep track of and maybe even remember your ideas. #WritingCommunity
I appreciate all the authors who have shared their earnings for 2024. As someone who’s taking the dive in 2025, I hope I can do the same in a year. Good writing everyone. #WritingCommunity
I’ve been thinking about my goals for 2025 for a few months now. In short, I plan on going all in on writing. I’ve been reading voraciously on business and marketing, but I’m nervous my ADHD brain is going to take a left turn somewhere. Here hoping I can focus enough to finish!
When I was in college, I really enjoyed creative nonfiction. Now that I’m writing a poetic memoir, I’m excited that I get to go back to that style of writing to tell the story behind each poem. This is fun. #WritingCommunity
I’m about halfway through a memoir-poetry collection and I’m trying to figure out the best time to release it. From my brief research, there is no rhyme or reason to release dates. Is that true? Does it matter when I release my book? #writersoftwitter
I’m learning a lot from Building a #StoryBrand by Donald Miller. Have you read it? Did it help you to communicate your StoryBrand as a writer? #WriterCommunity
I’ve been building my author website and I could use some advice. Do you have a call to action? Are you using it to build a following? Market your books? Share your portfolio? How do you use your websites? I’d love to see what you’ve done too. #WritingCommunity#writer
I recently used AI to help set up a new website. Other than some template stuff, I can’t use any of the copy text. I am bullish on AI, but this isn’t it.
I really appreciate all the feedback everyone! So, here’s another question. How do you build an audience for your writing when you have a million topics you want to write about? #amwriting
