The @USCG "credits the V-BAT with more than $1B in narcotics seizure this year alone."
It's a huge team effort between the U.S. Coast Guard and Shield AI to deliver strategic results for the American people. This is what right looks like when our service members and industry team up to tackle hard problems. The USCG is responsible for 4.5 million square miles of ocean. No crewed force can cover that alone. @WSJ's Sunday edition detailed how V-BAT is helping close that gap.
V-BAT is providing the reach and persistence needed to surveil, track and target threats far beyond the limits of cutters and crews. As the Coast Guard’s PEO for Robotics and Autonomous Systems noted, “[V-BAT is] a drone that can travel around 1,000 nautical miles, the equivalent of 1,150 miles, can do the work of 10 cutters.”
A relentless focus on mission success for our customers is core to who we are. We look forward to continuing to deliver results that make the Coast Guard and all our customers proud to use our technology and partner with us.

Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.
📸This week, @DNIGabbard joined the outstanding men and women of the @USCG aboard Cutter Stone to recognize their historic cocaine seizure—the largest ever by a single cutter. Under @POTUS’ leadership, our forces are empowered and equipped to take the fight directly to the cartels and keep Americans safe.
The DNI was accompanied by @NCTCKent, who is now driving the follow-on analysis to identify any links between traffickers, U.S. networks, and Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
Earth is our runway.
Introducing X-BAT, the world’s first AI-piloted VTOL fighter jet. With vertical takeoff and landing, long range, and full autonomy, X-BAT delivers combat power anywhere, anytime. This is the future of airpower.

AI imagery generators still can't seem to figure out how to make a hand with five fingers but somehow https://t.co/ml5my262U2 can render absolutely insane video.
NOTE: NOTHING in this video is real.
@terrymoorecnc@Droning_ON@sUASnews Doesn't section 5.7 of AC 107-2 cover this by allowing Remote Pilots to look at the controllers rather than the aircraft as long as they "still retain the capability to see the UA or quickly maneuver it back to VLOS."
@jasondunn@electronicpunk Yup. It used something called Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) to emit a magnetic signal to simulate the magnetic strip found on the back of a credit or debit card.

@jasondunn@electronicpunk That was the one benefit of Samsung Pay, the fact that it worked with any magnetic card reader made it universal. Too bad I don't like much else about Samsung devices.
