Our last few moments with the snowy owl in Harlem. I am new to taking video and video editing. Here is a rough cut of her flying off. We were so lucky to have these moments with her after a month of observing her in Central Park.
So many great memories with all of our owl friends, and so many friends I’ve made along the way, like @davidlei, @jacqduran8 and so, so many more. While Barry is no longer with us, and this snowy is hopefully home in the Arctic, those memories will last a lifetime.
In honor of Mother’s Day tmrw, I wanted to share this sweet photo of mom and baby from one of the first times I visited this well known nest in the Bronx. Seeing these chicks grow up before our eyes was truly incredible. #birdbx#greathornedowl#mothersday
Saw this #greathornedowl stretching and showing off his talons in the #bronx today. He was looking so cute in the spring foliage, getting ready to hunt for the family. #birdbx#BirdTwitter
This Great Egret was enjoying lots of fish in the Loch yesterday. The bird also matched the spring scenery perfectly. 🌱🌼 #birdcpp#BirdTwitter#GreatEgret#spring
This nest in New Jersey is set up perfectly to respectfully watch two #baldeagle parents take care of their chick! The nest is very active and we got to watch mom and dad both hunt and bring back food multiple times. #birdcpp
