HOLY SHIT. 75% of Florida’s residents either somewhat or strongly oppose DeSantis’ six-week abortion ban — including 61% of Republicans.

DeSantis just ended his career.

And it gets worse.

Not only did DeSantis sign Florida’s near total abortion ban at 11pm, not only did they censor public input as they pushed it through, but the new ban requires women who are victims of RAPE or INCEST to show PROOF to get an exception to the ban.

This ban would prevent four million Florida women of reproductive age from accessing abortion care after six weeks — before many women even know they're pregnant.

There is absolutely no way Gen-Z and women are going to allow this to stand.

For the life of me, I simply can’t understand why Ron DeSantis is prolonging his high-profile battle with @Disney, the largest employer in Florida. If he eventually wins, his GOP presidential primary opponents (and Democrats) will rightfully portray him as being anti-business. If he loses, his opponents will ridicule him for having been beaten by a mouse.

Either way, the American people are already seeing DeSantis for what he is — thin-skinned, vindictive, stubborn, mean, shortsighted, and not very bright.

It truly is a lose-lose-lose proposition for DeSantis. Can ANYONE explain why he’s insisting on doing this to himself? 🤨
