I regularly buy yarn for crafting. Fb ads are all yarn. Amazon is clueless.

But buy ONE book on Amazon and all of a sudden it thinks you need 5 copies.

@ken_bauer @bonstewart I had never considered how algorithms might be confused by different combinations in online behaviour/locations.

I spent two months in Israel and was bombarded with very particular advertisements and politics online for almost a year, well after returning to Canada.
