@behindthewoman1 Tracking my symptoms showed me that I did not have all the symptoms all of the time and so I did not feel so overwhelmed. I have stopped being ashamed to talk about menopause which is the best way to deal with. It is a Women’s choice how they manage THEIR menopause.
@behindthewoman1 My biggest help was the menopausal magnets and Macca powder. Had to come off the Macca powder as it affected my irritable bowel and you should also not take it if you have Thyroid issues.
I tracked my food and logged my symptoms and it definitely showed a pattern.
@behindthewoman1 I lost 4 stone, I dance do Yoga and walked.
I attended therapy and read an amazing book come as you are by Dr Emily Nagoski. I am also a member of the Facebook group pleasure possibility group which has helped me come to terms with sexual relationships.
Having an informed conversation is vital.

For many women the benefits of taking #HRT outweigh the risks. In younger women taking #HRT helps with future health

@MagnifMidlife@behindthewoman1 It is about Womens choice and getting HRT to women who want to use it. If healthcare professionals acknowledged menopause this would be a huge step. My GPs are amazing and they said what is all the fuss about women wanting some oestrogen. I wish everyone had such supportive GPs.
Tune in today at 6 PM to catch @MenoWarriorScot podcast EP 3! This week Jacqui and Caroline are joined by @menopause_talk (Ruth Devlin) and they chat about menopause information overload and how to sift through it all. This is a must listen for everyone!
