Honestly, think whatever you want about me and my projects.
I build cool shit that I find interesting. Things I would want to use myself. I’ve never promised anyone anything. You ape if you like or don't.
I’m not gonna pretend I don’t make money from these projects either. Hell fucking yes, I try to make at least something to make the time I spend building worth it. But there’s a big difference between making money from your work or rugging.
I sell my launch wallets at the very start, into the buying volume from snipers and early buyers (my private group). That lets me secure some cash, with the amount depending on volume and it gives every early buyers similar entry.
Around those same levels same time, I buy some floor wallets. Usually somewhere between 10–30% of supply. Those are the bags I keep to support the project, to hold the floor. If project goes to zero, those bags ride to zero with it.
Then I have a few wallets I actively trade with, or at least try to lol. Sell some into strength, buy back lower, try to support the chart.
I do everything I can to give my projects a chance to run and stay up. Of course I want them to do well. My ideal situation is a project that just keeps going, something I can keep building while earning from the fees.
That would be fucking perfect.
But getting there is really fucking hard nowadays. You need the product, attention, community, timing, and market to line up. Money and connections help a lot. I don’t have unlimited money to throw at a chart or some huge network that can make every launch run millions. So yeah, luck is part of it as well.
Ultimately, the market decides what it keeps buying and supporting. And right now, so much of that market is just hyper-rotation. Next ticker, next entry, next flip. People say they want long-term projects, but the attention and money keep moving somewhere else.
I personally want that one project I can just keep working on. But putting all your time into something that nobody uses or supports doesn’t suddenly pay the bills because you stayed loyal to it.
So you have to keep taking shots.
Build something. Launch it. Give it everything you can. If it doesn’t stick, learn from it and try again. As many times as it takes.
Hopefully one of those runs like a motherfucker and becomes the project you get to keep building for years.
That’s what I’m trying to find.
Anyway, just some Sunday thoughts. 🤔
