Growing up I always got bullied for my nose. Folks called me monkeys and all lol. Esp before my face grew into it. Honestly if I wouldโve became rich before I loved my features I wouldโve gotten a nose job.
Aside of her nose she literally looks the same lol. I think people are used to her dramatic lashes so her eyes look different and her having an install vs braids. Sheโs always had a pretty face tho. Also yall bully black women into hating their black features esp their noses.
Iโm not a medical expert but my mother was incarcerated when she first felt a lump and they ignored her. By time someone took it serious she was at stage 3. Even with a partial mastectomy it spread and she passed away.
Facing your own mess is heavy. Coming to terms with the choices YOU made, the times YOU didnโt protect yourself, the moments you crossed your own boundaries. That point where you realize everybody canโt take the blame and you had a hand in what fell apart too. Sitting with that truth hurts, but learning how to forgive yourself hurts even more. Growth doesnโt move in a straight line. Days like this are part of it. Feel it, acknowledge it, but donโt get stuck living there.
I feel like the older u get, the more quiet you become. Life humbles you so deeply as you age. You realize how much nonsense you've wasted time on. You start to accept things for what they really are. You stop forcing friendships & connections with people & you just learn to grow
