@PaulCherrington @jakehatch Pretty sure that was just outside the box so no PK. But RSL fans need to know that they got rid of the double whammy years ago. You can no longer get a red card for DOGSO on a PK. If it was inside the box, it would have only been a yellow.

@UT01226 @MLSonAir Because that is when the asset has the most value. Teams will pay more than they might get later. Also you don’t want to hold players hostage. But yeah it sucks and it is a good thing it won’t happen after next year.

@UT01226 @MLSonAir The summer window is the beginning of the season for Europe and most of the soccer world, so it is more valueble for teams to bring players in at that time. That is why MLS is changing their calendar in 2027 to align with the world so they will no longer have this issue.

In the regular season, there is no extra period, straight to 3 on 3.

@ocksportello It would make it so teams wouldn't be afraid to win, but it would also make like half the games after the all star break meaningless. When two teams play who want opposite results, there would be no incentive to win. If Jazz and OKC played right now, the result wouldn't matter.
