Big fan of “spiritual Communion”, I, but MASS is primarily about WORSHIPPING God and is performed even without receiving. Canons 1248/1174 recommend, in default of Mass, lsms, the Office, etc. “Spiritual Communion” is great but don’t equate Mass and Communion. They are distinct.
