They’re a division rival of my favorite team, but it’ll always be a bummer the A’s were slime-fucked outta Oakland by a duplicitous weirdo trust fund baby. I grew to respect that wild ass scene they ran out there in the East Bay.
Nobody is more indoctrinated than someone who says “I’m not into politics.” Every time that’s uttered is another win for elites. Politics is weekends, the 8-hr work day, clean drinking water, wages, quality schools & a functioning healthcare system. Everything is politics.
Not understanding why people are discussing Mackenzie Gore as if he's some great rotation-altering pitcher. Look at the numbers from last season and his entire career. And if peripherals are your thing, those aren't pretty either.
Rangers have arguably one of the best front-end rotations in baseball after acquiring MacKenzie Gore to pair with Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi.
Not a trio teams want to see in the playoffs.
Mackenzie Gore trade is awful. Offense is still trash and we exchanged 5 prospects (best pitcher and power hitter in our system, #2 position player in our system) for a guy with no real major league success and only 2 years of control. Hope I get proven wrong though!
If someone works full-time and receives SNAP, that means your taxpayer dollars are subsidizing the company's profits bc it refuses to pay them a livable wage.
This can only be said so many ways; it isn’t difficult to grasp.
The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.
Bezos is worth $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage
If god forbid a leftist like Hasan Piker were killed, a lot of centrist Dems wouldn’t even publicly mourn him. The idea that any GOP governor would fly flags at half mast for him, like Dem govs are doing for Kirk, is beyond laughable. That’s the imbalance we have in this country.
Fuck Steven Crowder man. The right wing podcasting sphere can't mourn the death of a friend without twisting the story to smear the most vulnerable minority group. Why is there so much violence in this country? Why is there so much hate and division? Start there.
i’ve unfortunately yet to see a single major right wing figure do anything but try to incite more unrest and division following kirk’s death. doesn’t look like things are gonna get any calmer anytime soon.
The explicit killing of one man: barbarism, cruelty, the basic social compact breaking down.
The implicit killing of thousands of children through direct policy choices: "complicated", morally justifiable, "an unfortunate consequence"
Terrible speech, IMO. A normal president would have defused the situation, said something unifying. Trump blamed the radical left and talked about pursuing enemies.
You can support Trump if you want, that's your choice, but you can't also complain about heated political rhetoric
Every President in my lifetime, including ones I deeply despised, would’ve taken this moment to try to unify the country, call for peace, lower the temperature.
But that is not, nor will it ever be, Donald Trump.
