The biggest virus isn’t HIV/AIDS.
It’s the IGNORANCE that still surrounds it.

•You can’t catch HIV from hugs, talking, shaking hands, skin contact, or kissing on the cheeks.
•You can’t catch it from sharing food or drinks.
•You can’t catch it from simply existing.
•You can’t catch it from love.
•And you can’t catch it if a person is Undetectable (UD) and the partner is on PrEP or practices safe sex.

What spreads easily?
Stigma.
Shame.
Discrimination.
Hate.
Fear.
Closed-mindedness.
Ego.
Arrogance.

To everyone who is HIV-negative,

Thank you for reading this so far.
You have the power to either spread fear or spread understanding.
You have the choice to either push people away or make them feel safe.

HIV/AIDS is not a reason to treat someone as less human.
It is not a reason to withdraw love, friendship, or respect.

For me the real test of kindness is how we treat people who are different from us, kahit ano pa sakit nila or pinagdadaanan nila sa bawat buhay nila - diba!

So please, lets all;
Choose education over assumptions.
Choose compassion over fear.
Choose to be a safe space instead of another source of stigma.

Because malay mo one day, the person who needs understanding…
might be someone you love na pala.

Let’s end the ignorance together.
With kindness and a big heart.
