Karnataka High Court has lashed out on Congress ruled Govt, for 'appeasing illegal immigrants '

On 22nd July, Dr Narendra had filed a complaint regarding illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Bengaluru.

Within 15 minutes, two criminal cases were filed against Dr. Narendra, and he was arrested.

The police later confirmed that the complainant couple Mohammad Bilal and Naseerna, were indeed from Bangladesh.

"Ask them to control this (illegal immigration), leave other talks. What is the (Home) Department doing? Busy with other speeches?" the Court orally remarked without naming the Home Minister @PriyankKharge

He reported the presence of two alleged illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the city.

What happened then? Two criminal cases were registered against Dr Nagendra, and he was arrested.

Now, the Karnataka High Court has rebuked the Bengaluru Police over filing two criminal cases against him. During the hearing, the court reportedly remarked that the police should not indulge in "appeasement" while dealing with complaints of illegal immigration and must instead act strictly in accordance with the law.

The court also questioned why criminal cases were registered against the complainant instead of first verifying his allegations. It stayed further proceedings against Dr. Nagendra until the next hearing.

Well, if an Indian citizen who reports illegal immigrants is arrested, then who will come forward to report such cases in the future? Which citizen will be willing to stay vigilant and take that risk if they themselves could end up being arrested for reporting it?

These extremely low scores, at which seats were actually allotted, indicate a serious crisis in academic standards. A reasonable minimum qualifying merit must be established to maintain the integrity of medical education and the healthcare system.

Forget about dialogue or discussion. So far, neither the Government nor the Opposition has said a word about this because it does not suit their agenda, and it would affect their vote banks and political interests.

Even those who are protesting today in the name of concerns about the education system are not addressing this issue because they too have political ambitions and know that speaking about it could cost them support rather than gain it.
