Watching Gen Z men veer right hits different for Millennials. We lived through Columbine, 9/11, the Iraq War, 2008 crash, 2016 election, covid, abortion bans, & now this. We watched institutions repeatedly fail us while older generations selfishly protected the status quo. 🧵1/
MIssouri voters voting for abortion rights, an increase in the minimum wage, and paid sick leave, and a senator and a president who strongly oppose these things is where we are in a nutshell
I think then next four years are going to be really bad for vulnerable individuals and that makes me deeply sad. We have a significant empathy problem in this country. While I am glad I was raised to think about others, I’m blown away by how unimportant that is to so many people
PSA: Telling the women in your life “at least amendment 3 passed so you have less reproductive restrictions and rights to your own body again” does not make us feel better
Tired of the “How many babies could have grown up to be doctors/lawyers if they weren’t aborted” argument. How many young women could have done the same if they got the chance to finish their education without raising a child? Women have potential too, not just babies
i love when people are like "how can you be a Catholic & pro-choice" it's super easy when you treat faith as a personal relationship rather than forcing your religion on everyone else in a country based on religious freedoms, maybe try that????
I really don’t want to support this show bc of how these women are being treated but also I can’t stop watching…but this awful and ABC needs to have boundaries and do better??? #TheBachelor#TheBachelor
