A reminder that he isn’t prosecuting his colleagues child for actually attending the protests but has arrested three Muslims who were simply planning a protest.
What do we call a legal system that applies the law differently based on religion? Apartheid.
@anishgawande@TawdeRitu ‘…branded him as a CIA agent. Masani put a placard around his neck with "I am a CIA Agent" written on it and moved around the corridors of Parliament House. He also put such a placard in the neck of his dog and used to point out to others how the dog could spy.!

Suddenly Prime Minister is appealing to farmers that they should avoid fertilizers and move to natural farming. This is insane. Any move away from fertilisers will cause huge food scarcity.Sri Lanka tried it & ended up with food inflation of 50% inviting a mass revolt in 2022.
The internet has given people extraordinary confidence. Enough to call the daughter of two INA legends Captain Lakshmi Sahgal and Colonel Prem Kumar Sahgal a “fake news peddler” while disputing an anecdote about Netaji where her father was actually present.
@manaman_chhina It’s more of a pump specific issue - the OMCs have withdrawn credit facilities to the bunks - so now depending on the ability of the bunk owners to access finance they are buying from the OE.
4), and most importantly, Tamil Nadu’s, Under Article 293 of the Constitution, states require central government consent for market borrowings if they have an outstanding loans from the center. Tamil Nadu receives such consents annually, as our borrowing is within the limit set by FRBM
the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act- is set by RBI, not by an individual such as Praveen - what is his credibility to dispute the borrowing limit set by the RBI ?
Rather why will BJP govt, which is at loggerheads with the dmk govt , allow us to borrow, even if there was slightest of compliance issue ?
Within a few months of becoming a Minister in 2021, I came across a very friendly dog (one of many dogs in the Secretariat) with a broken leg while leaving my office in Fort St. George one evening
On (erroneous, as it turned out) information that her leg had been broken in an accident very recently, I decided to try and have her leg fixed, and return her to her location
But at the Vet's it became clear that the accident had happened a lot earlier, and her broken leg had set incorrectly. The eventual treatment took a few months and involved a metal plate and screws, not to mention a vet, a veterinary surgeon, and a (human) orthopedic surgeon!
By then we had become so attached that she could not be returned to her original location....so we named her Peaches, and she became a part of our family
Recently, following the Supreme Court's order, the dogs in the Secretariat were largely removed...not sure to where
Peaches on the other hand is now officially registered as our pet under the Chennai Corporation's new rules🤗
