Kenya just approved new VASP regulations giving its central bank real authority over stablecoin flows, including the power to restrict foreign-issued coins like USDT and USDC.

Our Founder and CEO @pankajbengani spoke with @ForbesAfrica about the tradeoff: dollar-denominated stablecoins processed about 96-98% of global stablecoin transfer volume in 2025. Cut that liquidity off too fast and you risk a more fragmented, costlier market instead of a safer one.
