After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

Here in Tijuana, Mexico sources tell me this Islamic Mosque behind me just two blocks away from the U.S. border should be a national security concern now that the U.S. is at war with Iran, this mosque opened up since 2022 and has harbored special interest aliens with terrorism ties who coordinate with with Mexican criminal smugglers to cross illegally with the U.S.

I spoke with several East African men who have been at this mosque for a week and confirmed that at least one Iranian national is here now
