Wanted to make myself a thread of the books I read this year, starting with the one I just finished, so I have something to look back on at the end of the year with not just what I’ve read, but what months I’ve read more and what I thought of the books.
Book 28: Witness 8 by Steve Cavanagh. Another enjoyable Eddie Flynn book, a bit more thriller than con-man courtroom antics than the others I’ve read, but still a good time. As always some fun characters, shoutout Mr. Christmas.

Book 27: Turning Angel by Greg Iles. The Penn Cage series is quickly becoming one of my favorites, behind only Charlie Parker. John Corey, and (maybe) the Lincoln Lawyer. another brilliant book, excited to get through the next 5 in the series.
@Celtics_PRam@kitten_beloved If it doesn’t say only the surface then its not worth assuming considering you’re almost guaranteed death if your assumption is wrong
@KingGodsu usually progressions are left to right or right to left, not a constant back and forth from left to right, idk where he’s looking. feels like the ball should’ve gotten out way sooner even going through progressions
@OhioTate 17 is just not gonna happen even if he wants it. titans just spent a bunch of money on the rebrand and have a ton of chim dike jerseys, billboards, marketing that would need to be removed. plus chim was 1st team all pro last year
@BrianStats1 Not arguing with it in theory because I love pool play, but the downside is you need bigger event arenas with multiple stages which increases costs. To keep a 2x elim bracket it probably means you need to add a day, as well as additional expenses in running beta/charlie streams
@TheFreedomSean@NotSoAngryScout cause leaking information to a reporter to benefit your team is what all teams do. the scandal is a lack in judgement but from all appearances only benefits the Pats on the field and in trade leverage, etc..while Russini loses credibility as a reporter for it
