I've tested tap-mocha-reporter but it doesn't really cut it... What reporters are you using to get tap output more pleasing to the eye? #tap#test#tdd#nodejs
I’m quite surprised a significant part of the industry does not write automated tests or find them useful. They are a fundamental design tool for me and I almost can’t code without.
Do you write tests?
@iamdevloper Always ask the "stupid" question. 9 times out of 10, everyone else wants to know the answer too, but are too afraid of looking stupid to ask
@timClicks I don't mind the overall complexity to handle all the edge cases. But the fact that I need to work with two different string types with students right at the beginning is one of many things that prevent me from saying that Rust is suitable for beginners.
WOW!!! Svelte+Rust+Tauri=awesome! This is _exactly_ what I've been looking for. Now I just have to find time to build something cool with it 😁 @TauriApps
For those not used to it, it can seem counter-intuitive - but frequent releases dramatically reduce risk.
The more frequently you release your code to prod, the lower the risk of each individual release.
I never thought I would say this, but running Windows with Arch Linux in WSL2 on my XPS feels snappier and more productive than working on the Macbook Pro I'm using at my current assignment.
