Thats exactly how it works. Kinda hard to get use to it. You can put that relationship in manual mode and adjust sensitivity. It will make torque at a very low rpm but if you are pushing tractor to the limit it still needs 1500-1700 rpm to build full hp. It manages its self pretty well. If sudden load is encountered it does take a little longer to recover if you have it set to full auto.
