Being able to inject code and re-use material nodes is just so good.
I've always wanted to build a game about blacksmithing.
Maybe a future side quest.
@cmuratori Then people should be honest and say they just don't like it on principal.
They shouldn't make up reasons like "no depth, no symbiosis of elements" (real criticisms from that thread btw) which are delusional post-hoc rationalizations.
@No_Limit_Gamer@jifferey You obviously care a lot what he and others believe. That's why you're in dozens of threads about this game running damage control for it.
Mario Kart World uses a patented technique to make distant objects easier to see by enlarging them using a shader. The enlargement starts at 20 meters from the camera and increases until the object is 500 meters away, where it is twice as large as it would be normally.
@afatswedishcat@yoursunnyescape@QiaochuYuan No, it's definitely worse to set up a kid for failure by implying that the answer is either [Diego, his brother] than it is to expect an answer using fractions when the class is presently learning fractions.
Just wow 😍 #NTE#NevernesstoEverness
This is absolutely stunning. Easily my favourite find so far.
The art direction, the water, the lighting, the music, the whole feel of this place is just so dreamy and cosy. One of those spots where I had to stop for a bit and just take it all in.
@levelsio I don't think people understand that when a plant absorbs CO2, the carbon goes into the body of the plant.
So how would a small houseplant absorb all the carbon that humans in a house produce all day everyday? Where's all that carbon going?
They must think it disappears.
A patient was asked to copy the clock, house, and flower on the left. The result is on the right.
Apart from the fact that he's certainly not good at art, there is something seriously wrong here. Can anyone identify this phenomenon and the exact brain pathology causing it?
Guys, it's called a paradox for a reason. There's no point in arguing which side is right.
It's like arguing whether the statement "this statement is false" is true or false.
One boxers have to believe that future actions can change the past (impossible)
Two boxers have to believe the predictor is not accurate (contradicts the hypothetical)
This is not quite correct. Just being better isn't enough. It has to be so much better that it justifies the price.
And for some people, there is no amount of better. Many people prefer paying $0 no matter how much better the alternative is.
Valve / Steam Founder Gabe Newell on piracy
"THE EASIEST WAY TO END PIRACY ISN'T BY USING ANTI-PIRACY TECHNOLOGY. IT'S BY GIVING PEOPLE A SERVICE THAT'S BETTER THAN WHAT THEY'RE GETTING FROM THE PIRATES"
