I am deeply saddened to have to share the news that the brilliant scholar and longtime @IntJEatDisord board member Prof. Alison Field passed away on Oct 10 after a severe illness. Learn more about her accomplishments here: https://t.co/9bJz93sfGt
So sad about the loss of Ross Crosby. Ross was the eating disorders field's go-to statistician & there was no one quite so generous and kind as him. So grateful for all the mentorship he provided not only to me but to truly SO many in our field. Ross you will be so dearly missed!
I am recruiting a PhD student to start Fall 2025. If you are interested (or know any students!) in studying food parenting and obesity/eating disorders and want to get a PhD in nutrition, please reach out!
