Sometimes I accidentally accept the bare minimum trying to be considerate of what others are going through & that is a habit I need to let go of expeditiously
Why do I always have to be the understanding one? Why am I always expected to be patient, to give grace and to see things from everyone else’s perspective, while no one stops to see mine? Sometimes I don’t need another reason or explanation. Sometimes I just want someone to meet me with the same understanding I’ve always given them.
Loving somebody while they playing in your face will change you. You keep giving chances, believing the words, and hoping the effort catches up, until one day you realize you’ve been ignoring what’s right in front of you. That’s the kind of lesson that changes how you love. Now if your actions don’t match your words, I’m gone before I get attached.
I used to think losing a ngga I loved would break me. Whole time losing MYSELF trying to keep him was worse. Once I got my peace back, I realized some endings really be blessings in ugly disguises.
I think every woman hits that season where she's not angry anymore, just aware. You see people clearly. You move differently. You don't explain.. you just shift. That's maturity mixed with grace.
