Boycott stickers reading “contaminated with apartheid and Zionism” were found on kosher products in Tesco.
As a certified kosher product, this sort of vandalism disguised as activism only serves to impact Jewish communities in Britain and does nothing to bring peace to the Middle East.
So who do these campaigns actually target? Those who depend on kosher goods for religious and cultural practices.
More than four-fifths (84%) of British Jews agree that boycotts of Israeli artists, academics or businesses selling Israeli products constitute intimidation. This finding is particularly pertinent given the incidence of boycotts over the past year.
Retailers must do more to ensure those who seek to vandalise kosher and Israeli goods are stopped from doing so.
If you’re tired of this kind of thing, take action by joining Britain’s March Against Antisemitism on 7th September https://t.co/adonJqHL29.
We should beware MPs talking childishly about "kindness" and "cruelty". There are many more important things in life than letting Esther Rantzen have a bespoke death.
I make the case against assisted dying in @unherd.
