Here’s one of my best of the day.
Check out the Baily's Beads effect, drops of sunlight forming around the moon as sunlight streams over the craters and valleys of the lunar surface.

Presented at #GIA26 in Miami this week on “Communication on a (Very) Small Team.” Great conversation with fellow small-shop communicators, sharing ideas, resources and real challenges.
A great start to the @AAMCGIA conference!
Enjoyed co-hosting the Newcomer Welcome and connecting with 150+ first-time attendees. Always energizing to share our experience and introduce others to this incredible professional community. It’s going to be a great week!

Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶
The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
Ready… set… Earth! 🌎
As Artemis II flew around the far side of the Moon, the crew captured a new view of home. These images show Earthset, when Earth dips below the lunar horizon. Parts of Australia & Oceania are visible, while the dark side of Earth is experiencing nighttime.
Today marked my 11th Match Day with @UToledoMed and somehow it never loses its magic. A busy day, but incredibly rewarding to witness our students reach this milestone and step into the next chapter of their journey.

From avoiding Liz Truss to a dramatic battle with a fox, here are a few of Larry the Cat's best moments in his 15-year-long career as Chief Mouser in Downing Street ⬇️
Larry the cat, the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office, is celebrating 15 years as the British government's official rodent-catcher. The unofficial first feline has served under six prime ministers.
Magnifico! 💙💛🖤💚❤️
