1. Hello friends. It’s been a little while. I hope you’ve been well. I don’t know if you remember me, but I used to tell stories here to try to help people feel better. I’ve written a book, and I hope it does the same. I hope it’s one of the antidotes.
Born near Hodgenville, Kentucky, 216 years ago today, Abraham Lincoln rose to become a steadfast defender of the Union and a titan of our national heritage.
Mike Crawford followed a family legacy to @WCU, finding his place in Forsyth, his fraternity, & football. His journey took him from a small firm with fellow Catamounts to a c-suite role at a top 8 accounting firm. Now that’s a legacy! #WesternWednesdays

This morning, I finished sipping my coffee and simply breathing deeply while staring at the little drone video in the middle of a forest that my Macbook puts on when I lock it but leave the screen open. So. Tuesday.
@DavidJoy_Author Hey man. Fortunately there was a computer glitch on the NWS side and those tallies were incorrect. Unfortunately, it's still a metric shit-ton of rain and an historic/catastrophic event. https://t.co/vjOV2ZIsms
*URGENT MESSAGE*
This will be one of the most significant weather events to happen in the western portions of the area in the modern era. Record flooding is forecasted and has been compared to the floods of 1916 in the Asheville area.
By ears, Randall means his in-ear headphones that are critical for hearing the band on stage. He’s the drummer. He’s gotta keep time. He needs to hear!
Randall shares how he got out of that predicament, and he talks even more about his journey through @WCU and the people who helped him become the musician he is. It’s a terrific story and I hope you can give it a watch.
Or a listen! Here: https://t.co/KwapyuXgoz
He’s on a golf cart in a tunnel under Disney World, and they’re heading out to a big show that kicks off their tour. It’s Randall’s first tour with them since becoming their drummer.
They’re minutes away from going out, and Randall suddenly realizes he’s forgotten his ears.
@Dcollier74 By a stroke of dumb luck, I got to be in the stadium when they retired Thomas’s Jersey. (They were playing NYY and I was there for that.) Dude was a legend.
Memorial Day represents a unique day of recognition in the United States: a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks to those who gave their lives in service to this great country. 🇺🇸
