The Canucks have promoted Henrik and Daniel Sedin to co-presidents of hockey operations, Sportsnet can confirm.

Vancouver has also named Ryan Johnson as their new general manager.

Due to the World Cup, the Whitecaps don't have access to BC Place for the home Canadian Championship match against Calgary in July.

They'll make their home at the former home, Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.

Hockey has lost one of its most charming voices. There were few in the community more beloved than #JohnGarrett — as a broadcaster, a player, and as a person. His love of the game (and ketchup) always rung true in his signature playful tone. Rest well, #Cheech. 🖤
