Woo hoo! ‘Quite A Good Sport’ is currently the Gold Medal #1 sports podcast on Apple. It’s your very gentle, slightly silly, no previous knowledge required, accompaniment to the Olympics. Listen at the link below or search your podcast app…

Just my personal experience (others may vary) - We had to travel home to Arsenal today - during the parade - with a toddler. TfL have struggled, and had a bit of a nightmare tbh, but the Arsenal fans we encountered were respectful and helpful and the atmosphere has been great.
Does anyone know what the current system is for booking a driving test in the uk? Seems like it used to be that places opened on a Monday morning, but perhaps it has very recently changed?
Thought I’d watch the end of the Scottish football as I’d read it could be an exciting finish this season. But that bizarre handball decision has made me immediately uninterested. Balls don’t bounce off hands like that.
This is obviously not all that important in the grand scheme, but it’s an interesting thing about visiting a new place that you almost always find some preconceptions are wrong. I was also very surprised to see Winnie the Pooh everywhere in China when I’d read it was suppressed.
I keep seeing that the Zhao Xintong - Ding Junhui game is going to be the most watched #snooker match in history due to everyone in China watching it. But I’m in Shanghai right now, have put the main sport channel on, and they’re showing beach kabaddi.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love kabaddi as much as the next guy, but there’s been precious little snooker on the main sport channel while I’ve been here. Haven’t had it on all the time but I’ll I’ve caught was the last few frames of the Si Jiahui game.
Late last year I did this interview at the golf course where I grew up, in Bolton. Really really enjoyed it, after all it married my two loves: playing golf and talking about myself.
We are less than a week away from Season Two of @thestorypilgrim
I am excited to share a wonderful round of golf with @JamesHarkin
Due to be released next Tuesday, 27th January.
@andymccaff@nosuchthing@meladoodle Hi. it can be hard to get complex points across in a comedy show. Assuming you have some maths knowledge or you wouldn’t be messaging… I was trying to say we don’t know pi’s digits are normally distributed or disjunctive. There could be a pattern that disallows certain strings.
Absolutely delighted that Oldham are back in the football league. I used to go to Boundary Park very regularly as a kid. About time they got back where they belong.
@skweeds You might not believe it, but we’re very careful about what we advertise and we say no to a lot, but the automatically added ones are more difficult to police. The categories we block are pretty much the ones you’d expect if you’ve listened to us for any length of time.
For some people, last week’s pod had adverts from categories we’d blocked. It should be fixed now, but if the show was downloaded to your device a while ago they may still be there. Sorry to anyone who heard them (including Ben here - thanks for bringing to our attention, Ben).
I was just served an ad to join the US Border Patrol on the latest episode of @nosuchthing.
I know ads are dynamic, so I’m hoping/assuming this one just slipped through and you’ll pull it from your feeds @BBC@BBCTwo@bbcthree@qikipedia
