@CrossCountryUK 7.40am Newcastle to Leeds has just been cancelled. Is there ticket acceptance in place for other companies as I could travel using @TPExpressTrains or @LNER
@CrossCountryUK any chance of air conditioning for the 27 people standing in a vestibule on the 18:03 Birmingham to Newcastle? 5 coaches for a train that does a 12 hour journey is a joke!
@northernassist 11.49 @TPExpressTrains York to Manchester has left 15 mins late. I’m booked on 13.25 Manchester to Southport. Currently due to get in at 13.21, but if delayed en route, will my ticket be valid on 15.25? Assuming I’m also entitled to delay repay if I miss the 13.25
@northernassist Thank you so much! I’m at the doors already to make a run for it when we arrive. I can see the other train has been delayed, but it’s going to be tight.
@northernassist 12:04. It’s not due to arrive until 13:26, but the connection is 13:25. The 15:25 has now been part-cancelled, so the next train wouldn’t be until 17:25.
@gonortheast “Thanks” to the Sat 9.42am Q3 Driver who wouldn’t let people on bus before going over A1 Bridge & then literally drove off when we were steps away after we had all ran across Bridge to the Bus Stop. Fingers crossed Santa skips his house like he skipped that Bus Stop.
@EastMidRailway 7.06am Leicester>Sheffield delayed. 8.09am service arrived and we were advised to swap. 7.06am service departed and we are now sat on another train that isn’t leaving the station. We could have gone to Derby and made a connection to Sheffield
@CrossCountryUK@LNER@EastMidRailway Is there ticket acceptance in place across services? 14:12 XC Leicester to Peterborough delayed, which means 15:18 LNER Peterborough to Newcastle connection will be missed. Can I get EMR service to Sheffield & connect to Newcastle from there?
@fifisyms That’s true, though I suppose it’s a case of fielding the enemies and having them piss out of the tent as opposed to piss into the tent. I do wonder who is actually going to be left from a Leadership Candidate perspective after 4th July…
@LBC@mrjamesob I said the same thing to somebody I know who thinks their actions are justified. Their point is protests at Arms Dealers and Fossil Fuel Companies don’t get the press that Stonehenge will, but I think it just dilutes their message when places of national interest are vandalised
@bmay I don’t understand why Michael Gove has been rolled out this morning when he is not standing as an MP and is effectively no longer the Levelling Up Secretary?!
@fifisyms That’s what I was thinking, though there’s no doubt he’s 1 of the strongest people to be put in front of the media. Everybody else seems to be either kept back or shying away. It’s making 2017 look particularly effective.
@CrossCountryUK Any plans to increase carriage capacity anytime soon? Not been on a train where I haven’t had to stand due to reduced carriages/people sitting anywhere regardless of bookings.
@gonortheast Every time a certain driver is on the Q3 route, the ticket machine breaks, resulting in us waiting ages for it to reset or transferring to a later bus meaning a lot of us are unnecessarily late. Do they need retraining?
