GUESS WHO IS OPPOSING DANGOTE’s PROPOSAL TO BUILD A 1.2M BARRELS A DAY REFINERY IN EAST AFRICA (TANZANIA, KENYA AND D.R CONGO)
WORLD BANK and IMF. :
Their argument? it would give monopoly to one company over energy.
1) All the while, FRENCH refineries are in almost every oil producing countries in AFRICA.
2) No AFRICAN countries could get a loan to build a refinery larger than 400,000 barrels per day (one of the most profitable businesses ever). So the majority are small and struggle for profitability.
3) NIGERIA oil had to be exported to EUROPE, refined and in many cases sold back to NIGERIA and ECOWAS countries, under companies like SHELL and TOTAL.
4) It took until a billionaire financed the refinery in NIGERIA himself to change part of that production and supply pipeline. And today, after the Hormuz blockade, EU countries are now buying oil from DANGOTE.
AFRICA can now see who our ẹ̄nem!es are. They are not CHINA, RUSSIA or IRAN... But the UNITED STATES through its ne0col0n!alist's financial institutions called IMF & WORLD BANK. They are there to make sure that AFRICA never grow economically beyond the volume that couldn't be dictated by the WEST.
Many young people today feel pressured to become rich instantly because of what they see around them. But remember the Luganda saying: “Ekikula amangu, kifa mangu” — what grows too fast often fades just as quickly.
At a youthful age, one can certainly earn enough to live well; buy a car, build a house, or run a small business. But wealth is something different. Wealth begins when your money starts multiplying itself; when businesses and investments continue to generate income even when you are not actively working, and your role becomes simply to monitor and guide.
My advice to the youth is simple: do not rush the process. When you begin working, focus on building steadily. Learn continuously. Save consistently. Invest wisely.
The enjoyments of life; beaches, vacations, and luxuries, will still be there later. Money is sweet at any age, but it is even sweeter when it is stable, sustainable, and well earned.
Wealth is not a sprint of youth; it is a marathon of patience. Money can come early, but true wealth is patiently built, carefully protected, and enjoyed for a lifetime.
When the gospel reaches the heart, it moves the hands, shapes choices, and restores lives. Faith that believes also serves, because love expressed becomes hope shared. The call of the gospel is clear. Receive the good news, then live it through good works.
Happy first Sabbath of the year, dear Adventist family. As we begin 2026, we start it the way we always should: resting in God, trusting in His guidance, and placing the world in His hands. The Sabbath reminds us that every new beginning is safer when it starts with the Creator.
Ugandans deserve to know what’s in their food. High sugar, salt, and fats cause NCDs like heart related diseases, yet labels keep us in the dark.
@MinofHealthUG , please sign the Nutrient Profile Model to mandate clear warning labels and protect our citizen's health.
I invite you now. Enter this new year with new boldness. Embrace new projects. Seek new spiritual experiences. Keep the same urgency. The same God who guided our past is already clearing the path for our future. Let us move forward until we see Him face to face.
Maranatha!
