@soyhenryxyz@mckaywrigley I use @superwhisper and even the free tier model is way more accurate especially with software lingo. I just wish it streamed the text live where your cursor is but not a big deal.
@loro_dev Awesome! I immediately wondered if loro + @xyflowdev / reactflow was a thing and it is! Would love to see a blog/video of that + a websocket/live implementation. https://t.co/xmYUaMSXEN
@skirano Cool! How are you approaching the “action” side? I’ve seen a few interesting approaches like creating a grid overlay, another approach was converting a page to pure text with layout and augmented tags on clickable elements.
@elithrar@Cloudflare Not a sentence but an example of a startup (maybe) fully leveraging DO & an open source alternative? https://t.co/6JQgRyUpzJ and https://t.co/oOc3i9MmTA
@flybayer This is amazing! Having researched these topics so much before this will def become a go-to doc! One idea to build off this- maybe a repo/doc where people can contribute examples of various implementations? (partner with authz /authn providers?) Ty!!
@dhh If there was latent innovation pressure to deliver a beautiful, solid ui it likely would've happened by now. I think the culture around this solution space wants exactly the subreddit you pointed to- sort of anarchic aesthetics over anything controlled. idk
@kuizinas@vercel It does seem great, what about pricing for usage (or then there'd have to be limits)? I can't find anything in billing. Can I provide my own api keys?
@jherr The genuine excitement and curiosity you bring in your videos always tends to reminds me “oh, I do like this coding stuff!” Lol. Sometimes the day job of being a webdev can make one forget that, so thank YOU! Also how you compose and create a natural flow to your teaching 👌
@JacobColling@prisma@cursor_ai I’ve been trying to think of “how to have autocomplete + just the right context + result is like on-the-fly codegen scaffolding” and this is basically that. Thanks for sharing!
@lucaskostka@Cloudflare They also have workers for platforms for scaleable unsafe code execution, the dx is good too imo. But bookmarking this regardless! Notice any performance impact with this?
@gregberge_ I think it’ll be an interplay of the two. The new “generative” ui will increasingly hide the legacy ui. But 100% agree that the same UI design principles withstand regardless, we have not changed (yet) the tech has changed.
@jwjoel_ appreciate the awesome KeyChain extension! I left an issue but it's really just questions around chrome ext. security approaches, I'd appreciate any input or thoughts! Thanks! https://t.co/QiSzIYMzmV
@convex not sure who maintains this but I refer to it a lot when comparing db's "edge" speed and convex demo is erroring: https://t.co/VdHamXksZo Btw, any details on what your "edge optimized" offering is infrastructure / perf. wise?
@giri_sreenivas I had the same thought.. but this industrial design is just too cool/bold. When contrasted to humane ai pin I wonder if teenage engineer & rabbit are on to something about humans wanting a grabbable, tactile, walkie-talkie, fun device? The original mac was "cute" for a reason.
