But I think it was the most fun ps5 exclusive, and perhaps that's what users are weighing most in their scores. It didn't bring story/emotion/depth/adversity/nuance. It brought oldfashion fun

@PaulTassi @Codysseus23 Honestly, I think this is how it got excessive. I platinumed Stellar Blade, my 4th ever Plat (both GoWs and Remnant 2 being the others)
It's not like... great. Essentially no story, both major zones are basically deserts, bland characters. But... it was so fun to actually play.

@PaulTassi @Codysseus23 It's one of the few big sony games that's just straightforward gamey fun. I didn't realize how much I missed simple cosmetics being rewarded instead of bought. Clear goals, tight combat, unlockables, good graphics. It didn't exhaust me to PLAY, and that is becoming rarer lately

@CyborgMarc @IGN Yeah for sure. I think I'm just trying to say, these are not egregious mtx. This isn't some new ultra aggressive or scummy implementation. I see no genuine reason to die on this mtx hill, when this is more an example of how I'd like mtx to be treated by other companies.

@CyborgMarc @IGN I don't think mtx is going to go away, but I'll support a $2-$5 purchase of something minor or earnable in-game over the $20-$70 items. If making reasonably small purchases available for those with the time/money proposition to benefit helps them make more games, I'm here for it

@CyborgMarc @IGN You're totally valid in your opinion. For me, I think Capcom has consistently done dlc well tbh. It's not an Activision travesty. But as someone with a family and limited game time, I gladly paid the $5 for the re2 treasure map and was glad it was an option.

@Not_Xtormiken @IGN I have started dark arisen like 5 times. I've gotten like 20 hours in on my longest playthrough. It never clicked. I'm already much more immersed, invested, and just having a genuinely good time exploring and fighting than I ever was in the 1st. It's not a chore to try to play

@NoverianN7 @IGN I haven't had my game crash, but I think it's really going to depend on your hardware. For some reason my game is smoother and higher fps on my physical 8700k/6700xt 12gb than it is on geforce now 4080 tier.

@MiriKyra @DOXthaFOX @IGN You have to change appearance at a barber. By the time you're at the first town with a barber, you should have at least 500 RC. That's how much it costs. The problem isn't that the things they're selling are hard to get, it's they're too easy to earn, making the dlc unnecessary

@CyborgMarc @IGN A character edit voucher in MHR is the same $2.99. But it's interesting because by the time I even made it to a barber in DD2 I already had enough RC to buy a new appearance for free. I would love to better understand how this isn't ignorance and bandwagoning against DD2

@CyborgMarc @IGN Lol... monster hunter rise has 252 DLCs... go look at the steam page. Dmc5, re2 remake... all of Capcom games have this. I think I would understand this backlash more if it was tangibly different than every other Capcom game, but it's arguably one of their tamest yet

@PasswordSuck2 @PaulTassi Imo, the xbox experience is better. family management, quick resume, storefront, dashboard, app organization, play anywhere. I use ps5 for exclusives and xbox for game pass and most multiplats, unless DF says the ps5 has the obvious advantage. PC is still the go-to though
