God this is so sad. I grew up on Justin’s books - The Legend Continues, Monsters and Villains, and I was always drawn in by The Clockwise Man (it felt very grown up to an 11 year old). His name is still all over my bookshelf. My generation’s Terrance Dicks.
Life has a weird & rather sad sense of doing things… in the midst of writing an email to Justin Richards as I received word (via someone else) from Justin’s brother that he passed away early yesterday morning.
Wonderful man & superb writer. Condolences to family & friends. RIP
I’m super impressed by this. I love this kind of format for storytelling anyway, but the UNIT angle works surprisingly well with this Doctor, and Fugitive is absolutely perfectly pitched here. It feels like it’s fully diving into how her character initially appeared on screen.
Osgood and her assistant Andrew need the Doctor's help - but is the Fugitive the Time Lord for the job? 💥

Astonishing. It’s so dark, it’s SO modern Doctor Who, Hartnell sets the template of every Doctor who would come next.
Katarina learns so quickly, and she’s played with such sensitivity. It’s an incredible dynamic with her and the Doctor, and I think she so much potential.
After almost 60 years, two restored episodes of THE DALEKS' MASTER PLAN are now streaming! 📺

@notquitezennor I found it interesting how most controversy I saw was about Gladys, and the tropes she represents (all valid) - but not one conversation about the queerness.
I loved bits of the film, but thought it was just me being a bit Tumblr-brained about it, so this is reassuring to read🤣
I’ve co-written a short film - starring Louise Jameson! We’re so keen to get this made professionally and make sure all our cast and crew are paid fairly.

In my teens, I emailed Chris. I wanted to write a Dr Who fan series about entropy, cos it’d fascinated me. He researched, emailed me back, and thanked me for bringing him back to a ‘fascinating subject’.
He told me ‘do your own thing.’ It was so kind - I’ve never forgotten it.
RIP Chris - @chbid :(
Although well known as the science guy he had an under-appreciated gift for poetic dialogue. Shardovan is eminently quotable.
I had the pleasure of visiting him at home and he was charming, warm and engaging.

Christopher H Bidmead defines so much of my love of Doctor Who. I was ill from school and got the New Beginnings boxset, and Logopolis and Castrovalva are stories me and mum still watch as comfort episodes.
(Though we still pronounce it Loger-polis…)

James is excited to bring his long term collaboration with Felix to life, with this short.
@bigfinish 13's TARDIS is her Ghost Monument, the most treasured possession she has, that she couldn't imagine life without. What would be your real-life 'ghost monument'?
(Thank you so much for everything you've done as the Doctor - it means so much to me, and so many others!) #AskJodie
How we feeling after a certain line in that episode, fam?
Feeling like it’s a good day to read an illustrated fanzine with 13 full stories dedicated to the Doctor and Yaz? Because that’s how we’re feeling, and a few are still left up for sale… 👀💙

@Caroniver413 Thank you so much for this mention! I'm glad you enjoyed it - 'fitting as much angst' feels like the perfect description for my writing, I love it 😂
