I just took part in the #BigPlasticCount, UK’s biggest investigation into household plastic waste. Here’s what I found really happens to my plastic waste:

♻️18% recycled
🌍26% sent abroad
🔥36% burnt
⛰️20% sent to landfill

@UrsulaV It's a humourless scifi novel in all tbf, unlike Old Man's war or the Culture series for example. I actually personally loved this Dune. It was completely faithful and the cast nailed it IMO. However it seemed to only hit two notes: the epic visual or the stolid world build.

@RG_Bhaji @OctopusEnergy No expert here but I'm assuming higher demand is having a halo effect on all providers, regardless of where the energy comes from. Renewable output is finite too and when people switch to Octopus or if others start procuring renewable for their own offering, the prices go up.

@ohSnax @NoContextBrits You mean like how Craig's bond is not the same as Brosnen's bond? Both are still Bond but both are completely different. One pure cheese but very in-keeping with the Bond tradition and one gritty/ interesting yet breaks with Bond traditions. It has been done and can happen again.

@lizzbag @NoContextBrits Sorry, fair point. Accented versus unaccented refers a supposed English Bond played by an actor with a non-English accent, although I admit Bond's heritage is also not fixed. I should have just said, 'multiple accents'.
