Promise made. Promise kept.
By tomorrow, 25 million American children will have our gift of $250 in their accounts.
$6.25 billion. Invested in kids. Compounding for decades.
If you have a child under 18, claim their account and see how much is in there now.
$250 is only the beginning. 🇺🇸
My sources are telling me Talarico is in a mental health facility. His campaign has stopped actively planning events in the vital homestretch of the campaign.
If this is true, this is actually a time to pray for Talarico. We should, of course, savagely mock his smug, awful campaign advisors, by all means...and while yes, of course, this would be disqualifying for Talarico's aspirations to be a Texas Senator, we must hold empathy for anyone undergoing crisis. Campaigns are brutal, and not everybody is cut out for it. You need very thick skin. As much as I don't want Talarico anywhere near government, I also don't want wish him harm, and no political office is worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something he isn't, and it didn't work.
I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's OK. You want to win these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health.
I have a 6.5% mortgage so this does not even apply to me. Steady investing and paying a little extra on my mortgage to get it done sooner is our plan. But I will not judge people for not wanting to have a mortgage payment because they would’ve made more in the market. You can always make more money in life but if it helps them feel at peace then you’ll never convince them otherwise. It also does not make them dumb people. The majority of people in this world are buried in debt on deteriorating assets at high interest rates, those are dumb people.
In Montana, teenagers actually get paid market wages, good summer jobs, they can save money for summer trips or just enjoy being a kid with some pocket money. Their Governor, of course, wants to change this. Fuck all these people.
