@S66Greatone @QXVL3 @cb_doge They overheat because they have so much blubber for cold weather and have adapted to the cold environment. if it warms up and stays warm and ice goes away they will go back to being leaner and not need the high fat content seal diet they depend on now to survive the harsh winter.

@QXVL3 @cb_doge You understand polar bears don't melt in warm weather right. Just cause they are white doesn't mean they need cold. They do perfectly well in warm weather and probably like it more. Don't mistake a photographers picture of a sick almost dead polar bear on an ice flow as the norm.

@former_earther @r0ck3t23 Technically they don't. China and Blue Origin have both landed a booster on a barge or boat on legs. SpaceX has caught a booster with chopstick arms. No landing legs on starship booster.

About the only bad thing I can see about it was that it was an uncontrolled orbit, and the impact site random. In the future with a moon base, that would be unacceptable given the really small chance of hitting something important.

When survival hangs in the balance, being competent and useful is paramount.once basic needs are assured, purely artisc endeavors arise.
