@SpaceWuffHusky@foxtrot_j If you are going to build once-in-forever infrastructure, and we should, then put it in the right place. In 50 years, people would roll their eyes, rightfully. Don’t take up half of Barbur. Stations under Ohsu and hillsdale, and directly to PCC (and extend to Tualatin or further)
@CFBRep 7 of the 10 games involve former #Pac12 teams. Surprised? Not really. Seems like the collective image and quality of the programs in the onetime conference of champions is actually pretty good. Pity about the TV overlords
@johncanzanobft Will TV drive decisions on new entrants? (Yes)
Will Texas markets be sought? (Better be)
Tulane? (Hope so)
Zags? (Hope so)
Will Stanford/Cal be enticed? (Probably not)
What will this mean if there’s a chip kelly super league?
Disproportionate shares to attract bigger names?
@YogiRoth@pac12@yoptionfb If Fresno State and Boise are in, then I don’t see Stanford/Cal coming back, unless they have had a massive change of heart about academic fit. If it was Tulane, different story.

@JWMediaDC Given the academic importance to the PAC members, but also acknowledging importance of TV markets, I could see something like: Stanford, Cal, Oregon State, WSU, SDSU, UNLV (with a pledge to boost academic profile), CSU, Air Force, SMU, Tulane, Rice, plus Zags for bball
Last week, Oregon joined the 22 other states mandating a financial literacy course in high school to total 23 states nationwide.
Nearly half of states are helping to build the financial skills young adults need before they leave the classroom. Could your state be next?
.@johncanzanobft Footnote to the #Pac12 collapse? How shortsighted were Apple and Amazon? Absolutely blame collusion by ESPN/Fox, but by also lowballing, the supposedly forward thinking tech giants squandered the potential to own CFB in the entire West and gave it to the networks
@JamesCrepea The people openly rooting for the fragmentation of the pac now want to make it seem like it’s ok because traditional rivalries will supposedly keep happening. Sure they will.
