After a brief spell in the Capital, Jinky returned to Stair Park at the start of the year, and was really starting to hit form as the season closed out.

Our new number 7 will be looking to make this his best season yet in a Blu top. 7️⃣

League 2 Player of the week with 44.5% was @StranraerFC star and local lad @jinkyhilton. He bagged 2 well taken goals and was inches away from a hattrick as his free kick hit the post. A very entertaining player to watch who isnt afraid to try something different.

67’ | Another for Hilton - who this time picks his spot on the half volley after a wonderful ball from Matty Yates, drilling it across the keeper into the back of the net.

⚽️ (0-3)

[Stranraer FC @StranraerFC]

27’ | Scott Robertson shows great determination to win the ball back from the opposition, travels down the left flank and uses his weaker foot to cut it back to Jinky Hilton - he takes a touch and places it into the bottom left hand corner.

The former Blues man is buzzing to be back, and is looking forward to enjoying his football again - just as much as the Stranraer faithful will be looking forward to seeing him playing back where he grew up.

Jinky goes straight into the squad tomorrow for our away trip to Kelty.

📝 HILTON COMES HOME

Former local lad and ex Blue favourite, James “Jinky” Hilton, has returned to Stair Park after a short period at Edinburgh City.

James was a trialist on Saturday, and it was his free kick that lead to the winning penalty.
