#BREAKING Syrian authorities have confirmed the involvement of the Albanese Government in the return of ISIS brides, following revelations that 13 women and children will return to Australia.
Tony Burke has tried to deflect that the government "has not and will not" provide any assistance to the group.
However, a Syrian government official told the ABC the Albanese Government held “ultimate authority" over the groups departure.
The official said the group's departure was delayed until the Commonwealth had put the necessary "procedures in place”
"The ball was entirely in the court of the Australians," the source added.
“The Government was anxious to facilitate their return”
Tony Burke declined to say where the women and children would be going or when they would arrive.
No doubt wherever they go, it will be on the Australian taxpayer.
@CamMagicMan A great experience here Csm, plenty of work on the game going on behind the scenes, the Roosters are doing plenty here for the future of the game.
@LT_Aust Law should be law, these people (politicians) who create these ridiculous anti incriminating have zero credibility, this should be able to be undone.
@fulovitboss Question is:
Why didn't this get debated through parliament in real time, not rushed through as some half baked law before it came to this ?
@QBCCIntegrity The only person more spineless than them is the GG who sits above them and has the (power) not so much "ability" to tell them to grow up or piss them off.
