I love being a father. My son, when he was 6, asked me Christmas morning if Santa Claus is real.

What do you do in that situation? Do you lie to him so that one day he finds out you lied and never believes you again? Or are you honest with him?

I decided to be honest with him.
He started crying. I said Christmas has a profound impact on the economy. It increases global spending, improves GDP, retail sectors, and overall economic growth.

He looked at me and goes Does that include tariffs or is that something else?”

He was so sad.

I said and the worst part? I’m not your real dad.
