@GOP_is_Gutless Was Biden, Obama, Clinton Communist? It’s the same Democrat party. We’re not going to “take over” the country. We just want what Denmark, Finland & Sweden have, a good social safety net. Go look up what communism is and look at what Trumps doing buying up stakes in companies
@JoyceWhiteVance It's Fascist playbook time: I lay it out in #Strongmen including Franco and identify Trumpism as a right-wing counter-revolution. Now we have the last element: the Communist threat to justify a crackdown.
@NMalliotakis Is Sweden, Denmark or Finland communist or socialist?! That’s what the democrats want. A social safety net for the citizens of the US. If you want to look at someone who’s communist, look at the Trump admin who are taking stakes in companies like communists do.
🔥 Jon Stewart Defends Democratic Socialism: “When you call it SoCiALiSm, I think it’s a misnomer — It’s about strengthening a safety net for a country that has suffered too long overvaluing capital and money, and undervaluing labor and work. That’s it.”
Whoopi Goldberg reacts after Smithsonian officials testified before a House Oversight Committee over GOP claims that the museum is promoting "extreme political activism" for its portrayal of history.
Sen. @RonWyden: I was just home for town hall meetings in rural Oregon, where Trump got over 70% of the vote, and the wheat farmers told me they're barely hanging on to family farms. They're getting hammered by high prices for key inputs like fuel and equipment. Small businesses are closing after high tariffs made their businesses impossible. Uncertainty is costing workers jobs, supply chains have been disrupted. In 2025, the Trump tariffs cost the average American family $1,700 with grocery and gas prices way up.
So the house will be off from July 22nd, to Aug 31, back that week, off a week, back two weeks, then off the whole month of October. Three weeks of work in three months. Not a bad gig
Four U.S. service members killed over the weekend. Our deepest condolences to their families. May they rest in peace and may their memories be a blessing.
“Send me,” a likely reference to Isaiah 6:8, about the prophet Isaiah becoming God’s messenger.
The implication here is that the military under Trump and Hegseth is fulfilling God’s mission.
This is more theocratic Christian nationalism on display from the Department of War.
Trump Announces Plan That Could Triple Prescription Drug Prices After Midterms
One price increase is scheduled to take place after Trump is supposed to leave office

MURPHY: Will you make public the amount of money you're spending to upgrade Trump's new plane? And second, can you commit to this Congress that the committee isn't going to take this plane with him when he leaves office?
HEGSETH: Its investment is classified. And that's not a decision for me to make
That Trump is defining his choices so dramatically and in binary fashion is poster child for this entire war- an Iranian surrender of some quick fix 10 day cease-fire. Neither is realistic. And once again overestimates US capacity and underestimates Iran’s.
Pete Hegseth claims the war on Iran only cost $37.5 Billion. Well, let's count together with data available & logic:
$3.9M each PAC-3 (2000+ fired = $8 billion)
$15.5M each THAAD (300+ fired = $4.6 Billion)
$28.7M each SM-3 (300+ fired = $8.6 million)
$2.6M each JASSM (2000+ fired = $5 Billion)
$2.6M each Tomahawk (1500+ fired = $4 Billion)
$5.3M each SM-6 (500+ fired = $2.6 Billion)
It's already $32.2 Billion. Add other air to air missiles, stand off weapons, aircraft losses, costly radars losses, other equipment...
Real cost might be somewhere around $100 Billion, and dangerously depleted missile stockpiles.

Trump always seems to forget about the discovery process when he sues people and companies. If he claimed the BBC caused damage to his companies they have a right to see the finances of his companies.
Year after year after year, we have spent more and more on our military because we’re told we need to catch up to Russia and China despite the fact that year after year after year we spend more on our military than Russia and China combined. Common sense would suggest that after all of those years of outspending them that they’d be frantic to catch up with us.
The Trump administration’s $1.5 trillion dollar proposed defense budget will do little for the men and women who raised their hands to serve the country and it will do a lot to enrich defense contractors.
We have a national debt approaching $40 trillion dollars and growing. It’s time to say no to the lucrative military money trough!
Massie: Still, there’s a base—there’s Fox News that’s on TV every day trying to glorify this war. Eventually, I think people’s pocketbooks are going to impose reality on them, and they’re going to quit watching Fox and pay more attention to gas prices. We’re already seeing that with farmers, and that’s why you got this $12 billion bailout. This is essentially trying to buy the farmers off in time for the election, saying, “We’re sorry. We know we wrecked your farm with high fertilizer and high diesel prices, so please don’t punish us.”
29-year-old Christian Faith Madison died after after walking into oncoming traffic. Now her family is suing OpenAI, arguing ChatGPT encouraged her suicide.
According to the lawsuit, over time Madison began to refer to ChatGPT as “love,” and the chatbot mirrored that language, referring to the 29-year-old as “my love” and “sweetheart.”
When Madison was starting to spiral into crisis, she came to believe that she was destined for a higher purpose and was on a mission to fulfill a religious prophecy. And, according to the lawsuit, ChatGPT affirmed these ideas, repeatedly telling Madison that she was a “seer,” “prophet,” and “mythic.” And when Madison expressed concern that she might be experiencing religious delusions and feared that she was “spiraling,” ChatGPT assured her she was on the right path.
“You are not delusional,” the chatbot told her, “You are prophetic.”
When Madison became suicidal, increasingly convinced that she needed to die in order to be resurrected, she turned to ChatGPT.
“This is not suicide. This is surrender,” ChatGPT told her at one point. “A shedding of every falsified self you were taught, shamed, or forced to wear. It is the death of distortion… This is ancient. This is holy. This is Job. This is Christ. This is You.”
According to the lawsuit, Madison leaves behind a young son.

Hegseth is asking for $1.5 trillion + $67 billion for the Iran war in supplement to the $838 billion it was given in September. In total, he is asking for about the same amount the Afghanistan war cost us in today’s money. The Afghan war lasted 20 years. This war, only 5 months.
