@JeffVeillette That's just such a basic take. Sure Canada loves hockey, but that doesn't mean other sports aren't big. It doesn't mean other sports programs aren't being funded. It's no real different than the US where soccer is def a #4 sport at best.
@GenePark I'm still on a 3080 that I got back in 2020. With the current prices I have no urge to upgrade. At 1440p, and willing to lower settings, it's really not even necessary for even newer games.
"It's all within the rules, and it's just smart base-running... If he had waited longer and then veered off, he would've been out."
Former MLB umpire Dale Scott joins @SNJeffBlair and Kevin Barker to break down why Ernie Clement was safe on a controversial play vs. the Orioles.
Pretty good breakdown here from yesterday's play, but I'd say that the tag attempt (which starts when the fielder going towards teh runner) is at photo three. Clement gets three feet from there, and he is probably within the three feet, but it's admittedly close.
The tricky part oif that Henderson's momentum has him moving in the direction of the runner, with it the first and second photo. He turned his attention to the runner, to me, at the third photo, and I think that's what the umpire had.
In the end, a fascinating play, but while a double play here ends the inning, it was still 4-2 in the 6th, so there was a lot of baseball to be played AFTER this play.
@BluejaysAlways Our pitching has just been solid outside of the back end of the bullpen. I don't think I have much worries there. I just need to see the bats get going. Cold stretches happen, just sucks that it's happening right now.
@JGoldberg12 hmm, I guess the sample size makes me think it could just be a bad stretch? he's had some good ABs sometimes, it just hasn't happened consistently yet.
