The ENTIRE basic materials sector - all metals & mining, chemicals, etc. is ~2.2% of Wilshire 5000 exposure
This isn't FOMO, this is a financialized market that for decades has devalued real things completely
This is insane.
A Finnish startup just grew protein from thin air.
They're producing 160 tons of complete protein annually from NOTHING but air and electricity.
NASA just selected them to feed astronauts on their next Mars missions.
Here's how it works:
Unpopular opinion:
We’ve currently been going through a bad recession.
They are just papering over it with money printing and massive government spending.
Just because the market is up doesn’t mean people aren’t feeling the same pains felt during recessions.
Can the Universe exist without time?
The short answer is: No — because time is a function of structure.
According to the New Subquantum Information Mechanics (NMSI), the universe is not a singular entity but an infinite ensemble of structured oscillatory systems. Each of these systems contains a Central Logical Oscillator (CLO) — the core of its resonance and identity.
Time is not imposed from outside. It is generated from within, and it depends on two key properties:
⏱ Time ∝ Oscillation Period / CLO Diameter
The faster the oscillation, the faster the internal time.
The smaller the CLO, the sharper the temporal rhythm.
So in our Solar System, time flows relatively faster than in interstellar space.
At the heart of Sagittarius A*, time contracts logically compared to the cosmic void.
Without oscillation → no structure.
Without structure → no coherence.
Without coherence → no time.
Thus, the universe is not embedded in time. Time is embedded in the universe.

Scientific theories can always be improved and are improved. That is one of the glories of science. It is the authoritarian view of the Universe that is frozen in stone and cannot be changed, so that once it is wrong, it is wrong forever.

Hey all, have about 30% available for one bullet of the WSOP super main event $50 million guaranteed at face. Shoot me a message please if you have interest.
The market is giving you a chance right now to get an absolutely insane income in your retirement... Commodity companies are very cheap, many sporting double digit yielda.
There will be no extended deflationary crash. Federal interest payments are the largest line item in the budget. The path forward is currency devaluation.
Now I realize that there is a lot of pressure here in the short term but just look ahead in months and years.
Resource companies are the only place in the market that is screaming value right now.
@jebus911 Yeah, all good. Possibly just raising to 25-30bbs (effectively all in) might be better. Looks less like a draw, but you’ll have a lot of equity against almost everything aside from the ace high flush draw, where you’re still live
Good print from Freeport but some point we need to talk about the fact the biggest copper producer in the world (or it’s at least on the podium) with assets like Grasberg, Morenci and Cerro Verde is not really generating real FCF and copper is >$3.50/lb
Despite all the debate regarding the 1940s and 1970s:
Inflation turned out to be structural in nature and manifested itself through waves during both periods.
Take note of that in perspective of what is unfolding today.
Inflation is likely in a bottoming process, and the recent developments in commodity prices and breakeven rates are adding to that case.
This is not a cyclical issue; instead, the main drivers of today's inflationary regime are:
▪️ Deglobalization
▪️ Irresponsible levels of government spending
▪️ Ongoing commodity supply constraints
▪️ Wage-price spiral, especially among lower-income workers
The extreme heat in Texas will only get worse into July. The whole state may be pushing 105°F actual high temperatures. This might be worse than 1980.
Prepare for the worst in Dallas even if current forecasts only show 105°F. A more intense heat dome could easily push temps into 110s 🚀🌡🔥
Today, I took a very hard look in the mirror.
Then, I sat down and wrote something that was very uncomfortable for me, but that I felt needed to be said.
I hope these will be the most negative words you ever read from me:

The goldbugs really subsidize the world in some unique ways. Can you imagine if gold was not priced as a scarce luxury good?
Think about the shape of the copper cost curve if gold price reflected zero investment/speculative demand
