@OleTimeHardball If he gets to 3000 hits, yes. However, if he plays a few more years and doesn’t get to 3000, his average will certainly drop under .300 in which case, no. Especially with the scandal attached to him
@Sfars4 I love it! F*** these parents! Good for Coach Illiano and great job Stevie! Nothing better than seeing these scumbag school boards who cowtow to parents take it on the chin. Cowards!
@TheCaseFor You’re 100% right. However, a voters opinion of the player’s personality shouldn’t, in any way, affect his vote. Clearly, this unjustifiably has kept Belle and Kent out.
@TheCaseFor And as I do around this time (and induction time) every year, I still say the two biggest snubs in HOF history are Jeff Kent and Albert Belle and the next closest snub (whoever you think that is) isn’t even close.
@TheCaseFor Hey Russ! Just chiming in : Ichiro is obvious. I still hold 3000 Ks as a HOF landmark so CC would get my vote but Wagneris a no for me. My opinion is unpopular but I don’t think any relievers are HOF worthy as they are just pitchers who aren’t good enough to be starters.
This is why the Yanks lost Game 1.
Sloppy baseball.
Gleyber lazy pick attempt.
Rizzo (or anyone) not backing up.
You can’t let him get to 3rd with less than 2 outs when you’re up by 1 in the 8th inning.
Mookie Sac Fly to tie the game.
It’s the little things.
