Attention residents of London and Middlesex County! Varicella-zoster virus cases, commonly known as chickenpox, are on the rise in our community.
The #MLHU is recommending those who have not received the chickenpox vaccine nor had chickenpox in the past, to talk to a Health Care Provider about vaccination. You can only catch chickenpox once (unless immunocompromised), so if youโre unsure, talk to your Health Care Provider, search your vaccine records on ICON, or ask a parent to see if they have any of those chickenpox snapshots from your younger days.

A word on the idiocy known as "immunity debt". How did such a nonsensical idea take hold?
Simple. The obvious mental model for our immune system is a muscle: use it or lose it. Muscles atrophy when we don't use them. The same mental model works for our memories & skills.

Leadership isnโt a book or a course. It isnโt a title or the authority to make decisions. Leadership is arduous and consistent practice. It is humility and grace. It is kindness and candor to yourself and to others. Ultimately, leadership can be love in actionโฆ
