@MrARawlings I couldn't believe you'd got OFSTED this week. Your school is amazing we were really impressed when we visited last week. Hope you can all have a well earned rest this weekend x
@yamyamlen Hi, I hope you have had support since your husbands stroke, my husband had one last April and we werent given the support needed. He has since found dudley younger strokes who are part of dudley stroke association, there is also different strokes which is aimed at working people
@samuelcwhart We bought a bottle of port or could be wine that was vintage that could be left in a box until his 18th, we got all the guests to write a message and we put it in the box for him to open on his 18th. family enjoyed watching him open it and read messages from people no longer here
@MrARawlings This thread has made me chuckle! Thank you. We once had a teacher who was very prim and proper, during an assembly she said “Mr (headteachers name) is a good Tosser!!” The staff including head struggled to contain themselves! (In context she was talking about pancake day)
@ShonetteBason Oh wow, that sounds amazing, can’t wait to see your dream come true. That’s the one thing I miss now I live in the midlands, just popping to the seaside including seaton Carew. Happy childhood memories x
@ballater6 Tbh it’s just as important in KS3, when my son was in year 10, he had a maths teacher who didn’t keep record of who had had it so each week she made them all stand up and sit down if they’d had it. He never got it despite getting best results and making more progress 😢
